Humble Bee cakes are thoughtfully made, simply adorned, and tastefully presented.

Humble Bee Baking Company is a brand new micro-bakery specializing in custom cakes for special occasions. Owner and baker Hope has spent the better part of a decade learning from artisan bakers and farm-to-table caterers in the Finger Lakes area. She has found great joy in creating simple, grown-up cakes for clients who share her vision: that their cake should be delicious as well as beautiful!

Humble Bee cakes are made from scratch.

The bakery is committed to strengthening our local foodshed and supporting growers who use sustainable practices. When applicable, we use locally stone-milled organic flour from Farmer Ground Flour, local and regional organic dairy, local free-range eggs, and seasonal fruit from local and regional farms. We also use flowers from local flower farmers in our decorations.

Humble Bee cakes are accommodating.

With extensive experience creating vegan and gluten-free desserts, this is one of our specialties. We can bake for a range of dietary needs. While we do not maintain a separate gluten-free facility, we take great care to prevent cross-contamination. Wheat and wheat-free recipes are never prepared simultaneously, and kitchen equipment is washed carefully between recipes.
